Registered Behavior Technician

Behavioral Staff Assistant (RBT)
 
 The role of the ABA Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is to provide home and community-based ABA services to Verbal Beginnings’ clients. This includes the implementation of a treatment plan developed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) addressing communication, behavior, feeding, ADLs and social skills. The ABA Technician/RBT will also monitor the progress of a treatment plan and work closely with the BCBA to update the treatment plan as necessary.
  
1)In accordance with the needs of the ages of the population served by The Parent Train, will organize and maintain data collection and statistical analysis systems for programs; assist with behavioral assessments and program implementation; assist with clinical activities and caregiver/parent training.
2) The behaviorist will maintain proper record of visits and submit hours per time log policy.
3) Behaviorist will interface with client's therapist and ensure open communication of goals and therapy plan.

Skills/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in the field of counseling/related field. Excellent communication and computer skills. Maintenance of private liability insurance, valid driver’s license, and clear criminal history review record.
RBT certification or higher required OR demonstration that will obtain within 1 year of signed contract
